Marcus Birkenkrahe

I teach at the Berlin School of Economics and Law where i head  the e-learning competence centre and work as an executive coach in leadership and team development.  It sounds like fun – and it is! (here is what students had to say about it - in German)

Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family, with writing and making music. I have been online since 1989 and  never looked back. My personal contribution to the global greenhouse effect is most likely appalling.

My favourite music to listen to currently includes: contemporary classical (like Michael Finnissy – I studied musical composition with him 10 years ago), ditzy cockney stuff ( Kate Nash) folksy tunes (like Loudon Wrainwright III), and fancy-schmantzy harping (like Joanna Newsom). My favourite shows are Larry David’s “Curb your enthusiasm” (18+ only), Ricky Gervais’ “The Office” and “Flights of the Conchords“. And I am also a looong time viewer and fan of Friends – “How’re ye doin’?”.

I currently own five computers none of which is ruined by running windoze.

Matthias Mundt (contributed 2008-2009)

I am a full time economics student at the Berlin School of Economics and Law and I have been working for Prof. Birkenkrahe for the last 1.5 years.

Away from school, I spend most of my time playing tennis and tabletennis, learning japanese or taking pictures.

I currently own one computer and I am thinking about donating it to the Historical Museum.
