Student Projects
At the beginning of the course, you will establish your own WordPress blog. You will join a team of 4-5 other students. In this team, you will work independently on a project topic of your choice. The goal of the project is the creation of a distributed learning module – your part of the module will reside on your own blog.
The projects do not need to be related to our overall topic “business information systems”, but they do need to be SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, results-focused and time-limited). Each team must prepare a one page project exposé and elect a project coordinator. The exposé must be put on the ILIAS course wiki.
Note: the project will be graded only at the end of the course!
Dozens of student teams have created learning modules as part of this course. Here are some examples from previous semesters:
- Wiki learning module about Google
- Blog learning module about Google analytics & Adwords
- ILIAS learning modules on a range of topics

In week 3, student teams have to turn in a project exposition. Here is an example using this course project itself.
